This website is run by Wolf Ó Seaċnasaiġ, an individual in New South Wales who sells photographic prints as a hobby. This policy explains what personal information is collected, why, and what happens to it. Wolf may not be formally covered by the Privacy Act 1988, but aims to follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway.
What’s collected
When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (for the courier), what you ordered, and any name you’d like written on the back of a print.
When you buy a gift certificate: your name and email, the recipient’s name and email address, your message, and the delivery date.
When you send a message: your name, email address and what you write.
Card details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment provider. They are never seen or stored by this website.
What the website itself stores
No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used. Your cart is kept in your own browser’s storage so it’s still there when you come back; it isn’t sent anywhere until you check out. Our web host, Cloudflare, may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
How it’s used
Only to make and deliver your order, send gift certificates, answer your messages, handle returns, and keep records the law requires. There is no newsletter and no marketing email, and your information is never sold or rented.
Who it’s shared with
- Stripe, to take payment and send your receipt.
- The print lab that produces your order, which receives the image and the order details, and your name and address only if an order is shipped to you directly from the lab.
- The courier or Australia Post, which receives your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Resend, an email service, to send gift certificates and order emails.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores order records.
Some of these providers store information overseas, including in the United States.
How long it’s kept
Order and gift certificate records are kept for up to 5 years, for tax, warranty and consumer law purposes, then deleted. Messages that aren’t about an order are deleted within 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you. Email [email protected] and you’ll get a reply within 30 days. Some order records may need to be kept for the period above.
Concerns
If you have a privacy concern, email first and it will be looked into. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
